Don’t Search and Seize My Cloud, Bro

Pretty weak for my first post to be a link to someone else’s work, but it’s a very worthy first post and sets the stage for the type of content you will find here going forward.

James Urquhart wrote up a very good piece entitled “Does the Fourth Amendment Cover the Cloud?

He starts the article by saying:

One of the biggest issues facing individuals and corporations choosing to adopt public cloud computing (or any Internet service, for that matter) is the relative lack of clarity with respect to legal rights over data stored online.
